Reaching out when you feel disconnected from yourself and others, or when you feel broken or hurt can be scary. You're not alone in that experience. Reading these words might make your heart race because you're used to picking yourself up and doing it all on your own, or because you might have to process something you've been trying to avoid or forget for a long time. Sometimes we need to ask someone to help us. Help us get up, lie next to us on the ground until we're ready to sit and stand, or walk beside us into the dark forest we've desperately been trying to go around. That's what I do.
I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relational wounds, and life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in person-centered and relational-cultural theories. You and I will work to explore your wounds, emotions, self-worth, and re-establish a sense of wholeness within yourself and your relationships.
As a social justice-oriented, person-centered, feminist, I believe we heal the most when others compassionately and empathically support us, especially during our dark moments. You don't have to do all of this by yourself. If any of this resonates with you, then let's chat.
